Cornerstone Bank is becoming The Bank of Princeton
On January 18, 2024, The Bank of Princeton entered into an agreement to acquire Cornerstone Bank with branches located throughout southern New Jersey.
The acquisition of Cornerstone Bank received regulatory approval on July 19, 2024. As of Monday, August 26, 2024, Cornerstone Bank will begin operating as The Bank of Princeton.
In the coming weeks, Cornerstone Bank customers will receive additional information detailing the conversion process from Cornerstone Bank to The Bank of Princeton as it relates to their specific account relationship. The information will be delivered to the address we have on record.*

Deposit Accounts: You will receive an account specific letter for each of your deposit accounts, along with agreements and disclosures concerning policies and fees associated with that account thirty (30) days prior to the effective date. Your account number will remain the same. You will be provided with a new ABA/Routing number for your account. If you have direct debits made to your checking account for bill payments, you will need to provide your new ABA/Routing number to the merchants promptly to avoid missing any payments scheduled after Monday, August 26, 2024.
Loan Accounts: You will receive an account specific letter for each loan account, along with any required disclosures and information on how to make loan payments thirty (30) days prior to the effective date. Your loan account number and ABA/Routing number will be changing.

The Overdraft Protection Program is a service added to your checking account to cover unintentional overdrafts to a set limit, subject to eligibility criteria. Complete information on the Overdraft Protection Program and its disclosures will be sent in a separate mailing to all eligible accounts.
